Compassionate care at the end of your life.

And comfort for the grieving.

An end-of-life doula, also known as a death midwife, fills the gap between medical and hospice care. We provide support for your own and your family’s emotional, spiritual and non-medical physical care needs before, during and after death.

Giving people the emotional support and tools to be fully present at the end.

Tell me, what else should I have done?
Doesn't everything die at last, and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?

Imagine getting the news that you are dying. You may feel frightened, powerless and alone. In those last months, you want to live your life in a way that honours all 5 pillars. Now is the time to realize your soul’s priorities and live your precious life. Our culture's death denial is crippling and limits us from living a full and empowered life now. I will help you create a vision map to show you how to consciously honor every moment of your life, while you have it!

Hi, I'm Lea

I provide a variety of services, such as creating death plans, providing spiritual, psychological, and social support before and just after death, and logistical activities like planning services.

My goal is to make sure that no one dies alone, and that families and loved ones know what can be done to make the last months, days, and moments as beautiful as they can be.

In 2000, I became interested in emotional intelligence and returned to university to get the qualifications to teach people this important work. I worked as a corporate trainer and spoke at conferences around the world, first on emotional intelligence and eventually on trust.

In 2021, I was awarded a lifetime achievement award as a Top Thought Leader in Trust by Trust Across America.

Because of my work in trust and emotional intelligence, I can help bring comfort to those experiencing emotional pain and sadness. With an open heart and open mind – and without judgment – I will ease your journey, listen to and hold space for the grieving.

I believe everyone should die with dignity and be surrounded by love. My goal is to make that your reality.

Living with loss requires you to give yourself permission to grieve however you want to for the rest of your life... because grief is love, and both love and grief live on.

Speaking & Training

Healthcare workers at every level struggle with knowing what to say when someone is dying. Yet knowing what to say is only scratching the surface of learning how to be respectful and empathetic with the terminally ill. There are small rites and actions that can be done that make a world of difference and I can teach them.

I deliver customized speaking and training to suit the needs of your team. Two popular topics are listed below.
